Access does not buy a conclusion.

CAPABL keeps manufacturer information, outside accounts and its own findings distinct. Supplied equipment does not buy a favorable evaluation.

Devices given or loaned to CAPABL

Founder-confirmed equipment relationships, recorded October 7, 2026:

  • Hypershell: device provided at no cost.
  • RoboCT: device provided at no cost.
  • Dephy: device currently on loan.
  • Moveo: device was temporarily loaned and has been returned.

These devices were given or loaned to us; this list does not mean we have tested them. Each report must explain where the device came from and how it was used.

What a listing means

A listing helps you learn about a device. It is not a recommendation, medical clearance or CAPABL certification. We label the maker’s claims even when they give us a device.

Who controls what we publish

Manufacturers may provide information and raise factual corrections. CAPABL retains control of its editorial conclusions. Funding, sponsorship or affiliate relationships must be identified where they affect the content. The equipment list above is not a statement about every possible commercial arrangement.

How to read the evidence

Product details and claims from the maker are labeled. News reviews and owner accounts have their own limits. CAPABL Observed means notes from our own use. CAPABL Tested must meet our published test rules. Research findings are labeled and explained in the setting they came from.

Conditions for future clinician pilots

CĀPABL Clinicians is a network in development. Before any pilot, protocols, compensation, product access, conflicts and publication rights must be agreed. Private manufacturer research and feedback are separate from independent public evaluations and do not automatically qualify for a CAPABL Tested designation.

For independent public evaluations, CAPABL must retain publication rights: manufacturers may review factual accuracy, but cannot control conclusions or suppress unfavorable findings. These are requirements for future pilots, not a statement that pilot agreements are already in place.

Evaluator qualifications and evaluation depth are separate. Clinician participation does not establish an endorsement or satisfy CAPABL Tested criteria on its own. Learn about the founding network.
